Vote or Die

I voted today! I was 17 during the last election, so this was the first time I've been able to vote. I hope all you other young Americans voted too! Actually, I don't. I really don't care if you voted or not. I don't know why everyone pressures us to vote. Why not leave the voting to the people that care?

I'm a bit late with this. The BoA song is better than expected and it's one of my current favorites. Hands Down is another one I can't get enough of. And of course I have to mention Moments, one of Ayu's best recently.

This Woman's Work

I feel weak and tired, like I have nothing left to give. All I want to do right now is crawl into bed, go to sleep, and never wake up again. All day long I was forced to deal with people and I wished I could just hide somewhere alone instead. I was close to walking out on my job thanks to the old man, but the voice of reason in my head kept me from doing anything reckless. It sure would have felt good, though.

Easy Breezy

I'm tired of hearing people say that Utada's music video for Easy Breezy doesn't make sense. It does. If these people can't figure out the simple and obvious story to the video, then that is their problem and they should stop complaining about it. What makes it worse is that these comments are coming from the same group of people who love Hikki's Japanese videos. If these people don't know what's going on in Easy Breezy, then they can't possibly have any idea what's going on in Final Distance, Traveling, Sakura Doropusu, etc. These people are probably so clueless about these videos they are praising that they don't even realize they don't know what's going on.

Another gripe I have is people saying Hikki looks like a slut in the video. Oh, please. She barely shows any skin other than her arms. I see girls on the streets revealing much more every single day.

All the negative comments on Hikki's American career are starting to get to me. It's not the complaining that I dislike so much as all the "Why, Hikki???" and "What the hell is she thinking?!?" comments. Hikki can do whatever the hell she wants and if people don't like it then they can stick with her Japanese music.
